the rule of thirds.

One, two...three.
One, two...three.
Easy steps but not for me.
I don't jump like you do.
I fear more than you do.
What happens next?
After 3? It's too uncertain for me.
What if I miss one?
And what if I skip two?
Will I have to go back
And do them again too?
One, two...three
nope! I can't do it sorry!
Three is too far and
I have no idea what four is?
Ok I'll try again but,
what if three is too hard?
One, two...three
Breathe! Breathe! breathe!
Oh I can't do this!
Not without the power of three
Not without the power within me.
One, two, three is all I need,
I cross my heart.
And let three do thier part.
and there was Peace.

I like this poem for its simplicity. I'm currently listening to the song: "Crash" by Angela's Dish which currently has some of the same themes as your poem. Such a great song. *Sigh* I won't be posting up those 10+ pages of old poems for a while since I have trouble even after switching browsers for a poem to load onto my page and such. -_-

thanks rocker chick :)

well then you will need to create new ones :) 95% of mine are rough drafts when posted. I go back eventually and clean a few up. mostly i am very busy with three jobs and building a home and raising a family but my motto is you never know what you can do unless you try! so I cant wait so see what you bring! :)

The poem is simply beautiful

The poem is simply beautiful and i love it! Oddly, I find it soothing and disturbing at the same time. Maybe it's just me, or maybe that's why it's art ;-) Either way, I'm drawn as a moth to a flame.
