Spades of Afterglow.

Its been endless years
and a thousand rotations of the stars
and Im still yours even though our wars
you haunt the corners of my mind
in the most devious places
While working on love in spades of aces
An unlucky card the one I was dealt
the card of beguile and mystique
always destined to hide how I felt
now here we are again no more
aces to play and double duces
trumping kings and queens.
I would hold you in my hands forever
just to be in your atmosphere I hustle clever
scheming to bring you into my line of sight
just to take you in and burn on entry so bright
And that holy day when it all came out
that this was what we knew instictive.
that one day changed my life
however we both knew it would only end in strife
your finger tips on my tips
and tippy toes of dizzy excitement
I balanced my life on a magic carpet
and as all good things must end
luckily ours is of tragedy unintended
that we shall never be apart in heart again.
My soul will find you at the worlds end
and we will come to gether in a union so
perfect flesh would be a defilement
and this shining supernova will be the
casting of our after glow.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Bah not really feeling it some good lines might pull them out and start again. writing instead of sleeping is never the brightest idea... flow sucks too.

This is good

even if you think you can make it better (and I agree, writing instead of sleeping is not a great idea, but nonetheless...) -- if you do rewrite it please keep the final lines -- they are magnificent:

My soul will find you at the worlds end
and we will come to gether in a union so
perfect flesh would be a defilement
and this shining supernova will be the
casting of our after glow.
