The kindness travels far
Locked in a memory of another
Long forgotten.
The kindness replicates
and passes forward,
But that kindness
must first must be willed to live.

A niggle in your brain,
That triggers off your heart.
Some call it guilt
Some call it compassion
Others think it's old fashioned.
Call it what you will but,
a better world starts with you,
who calls thoughts into existence too.

Look around,
look for a reason
to be kind;
And perhaps
it will be paid forward,
Then one day you might find,
when that wave of kind
has washed around the world
Like a forgotten friendly ghost;
It might tap you on the back
Just when you need it most!
