Haunted By Love
I feel pain in my arm, pain in my heart. I know this is You, touching me from the Other side, reading my mind, nothing to hide, and nowhere to hide. Not haunted but guarded by Her. She who said that She would never leave me, loved me in ways that only SHe knew. Neither of us knew what to do, where to go, start over, be content, pay rent, days spent clouded by substances, shrouded. I've never doubted You, knew You'd get what You wanted, undaunted by consequences. Now I lament, tears roll as i roam alone these streets not my home. I look, listen for You everywhere because I dare to love beyond the grave, a slave so blue, still in love with You. I know what to do as I wait to dance for You. Until then, We'll meet again, peacock and peahen. Forever Yours Jen...
