Mommie & Daddy Love Me

It seems to me, I've played the game to long.
I can relate to many a sad song.
Looking to fit in, where I don't quite belong.
The ugly duckling, dosen't always grow to be a swan.
I am the product of my mother's egg,and my father's spawn.
Fight the mirror everyday.
Monitoring how much I weigh.
I've been fed by the media enough for one day.
Glowing lense rots my brain.
Break the mirror.
Shattered glass bounce back at me.
Kaleidscope of obscure imagery.
I'm in disgust, I don't like what I see.
But mommie and daddie love me.
Mommie and daddie love me.
I have accepted, I am not of ideal beauty.
Will learn to accept my years of being lonely.
But mommie and daddie love me.
Mommie and daddie love me.

Sounds like me...heh. You know you got it bad when your mom looks at you and says "Hun, I think your cool" YEP!... Ah god. I can relate so much to this poem, very good job. I like the Kaleidscope refrence.
