Lonely Moon

Folder:
poems

Rippled across the surface

The moon shuffles his gaze

World is still and peaceful

Under his watchful eye

Casting shadow over all

He dares to touch

How can something so beautiful

Make everything so black?

A harsh wind follows him

Blistering cold is his soulmate

Silence are the words he knows

Too well he is aquainted with lonliness

Tears are a regular occurance here

But nobody knows

They are all sleeping now

Why would they care for him?

Author's Notes/Comments:

i was thinking about how lonely the moon must be,everyone goes to sleep when it comes out. even though it visits us every night!!
