Broken(Co-written by Courtney Roy)

Blah

In a room with no windows

I look outside to see the world

But all I can see is you

Your face staring back at me

Like a broken mirror I shattered-

I broke you and left you to die

Silently, in a dark corner of the world

Where time no longer matters

You took me there with betrayal

And I left you there with a kiss

But now you're gone-

Only in my dreams do I see your face

My head, swimming in agony from this pain

That threatens to consume me, even now

As I run away from the nightmares

Snapping at my heels

Like fate did with you and me

We ran wild in the wind

With reckless abandon

Until both time and fate caught up to us

In a one room house on a one house hill

That just wasn't big enough for the two of us.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem I was helped out a LOT by Courtney Roy.  Go to her page-she can write!!!  Without her help on this one, I would never have gotten past the third line...  Thanks a lot Courtney....

Thanx for the comment at the end. It made me laugh. You wrote most of the poem though so you should get all the credit. You did a good job and you're the better writer! ::big smile::
