of course there are 'secret' messages on TV. Only, they're not so 'secret', they're pretty much blatantly in your face. Anyway... I find it interesting that, as an American, you are able to recognize what your national television is doing to you, and acknowledge the fact that it has, for lack of a better term, 'worked', and yet... you seem to be pretty apathetic to the whole situation. You admit you are a pacifist, which is good, and that the tv has taught you to hate anybody you don't know, and you realise that, but just kind of let it be. Interesting...
