poem sequence Yesterday was the first time i had seen you in weeks
I was standing on the other side of the field
Someone told me you were there, but i wasn't sure
I was cheering my lungs out and then i saw you
It was like a dream when you were walking towards me
I finished cheering ran into your arms
When i was in your arms it felt like time had stopped just for us
I couldn't belive you were there
I'm still in shock and awe at the whole thing
When we locked fingers i felt so happy and good
You are so close to me
That day was so great for me
The day when we can be together will be the day i am truly happy
