Against The Pain

Why does it have to hurt?

This feeling of never more

Why does it have to give pain?

This broken heart you adore

These tears I cried for so long

Lie dry upon my cheek

For what I have wanted for so long

The rejection has made me weak

As I pass you in the halls

And laugh with your wholesome smile

I have secretly wanted for you to be mine

This feeling has been awhile

But I know that I will caome through

And you will never know

Just how great we could have been

And how much I love you so

Oh, this is so sweet. I actually liked it, and I usually don't like poems about love. I am really glad I found your page. I have to go and read your other ones now...
