WHAT WAS THAT AGAIN?

I am no one but only me.

I would be blind if I couldn't see.

I am together but all alone.

I would be a child if I wasn't grown.

I am afraid with nothing to fear.

I would be far out if I wasn't near.

I am a woman but often a girl.

I might be in an oyster if my home was a pearl.

The moral of my little rhyme is this.

I ain't no frog so give me a kiss.

Now, this was a cute one that I really loved! You made me laugh when I got to the "near and far" line. Watching Sesame Street with my small boys years ago, seeing Grover do his near and far skit, which was very funny! Nice write and thanks for that memory!
