So this is how it stands, this is how it will be
Ignoring all that's gone on we'll build a distance
We'll maintain it, explore it, divide it in two
And at least one us is probably grateful in the end
We'll pretend not to know each other,
Other than exchanging a fake ass wave
To expand that empty feeling, we'll fill our heads with nonsense
Until we're convinced that it's justified.
