How I miss you when you're not there.

Your guidance leads me on,

keeps me going, helps me be strong.

I thank you so much for caring, being there from the start.

You will always have a special place in my heart.

Written in 2002 for all my friends who have supported me. I love and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I like the sing-song rhythm of this poem. I'm not a big fan of rhyming poetry, but this one is cute, airy, emotional, and well constructed. Great write and I hope your friends love you as much as you do them.
