Random A letter is what I am writing to you, my friend, my lover and wife.
It's been much longer than I would wish, 10 years lost of our lives.
I had to leave your side my love, although i wanted to stay.
I had to leave when they told me to, i couldn't have one more day.
They told me that if I refused to go, the consequence would mean death.
They told me that I could write to you though, that's if there was anything left!
I did not mean to do what i did, I don't even know what went wrong.
I guess that I can't really change the past, but baby it's 10 years too long!
Whatever I do now can't make up the loss, or the hurt that my actions have caused.
I'm sorry for everything that I did, I'm sorry for all of my flaws.
I'm sorry that I had to leave you like that, I wanted to stay by your side.
I didn't want to kill you my love, and I wouldn't if you hadn't lied!!
I really liked your poem. The ending got me, because I didnt expect it. It made me laugh a little because it took me for a loop. Nice work
