So many times thought it was right,

just to find out it was wrong,

all i want is one peaceful night,

where my thoughts leave me alone,

it's all about a good thing,

not about the poor,

even if she should ring,

don't wait outside your door,

everybody needs mistakes,

how else can we grow and learn?

i just hope all my past fakes,

each get theirs, in turn,

we could have both been kind,

instead you negatively stick in my mind.
