Shy glances are exchanged for kisses,
reality has lately been replaced by wishes,
confused as to what we are, what is this?
took you off my list of all my misses,

make each other happy, it's what we do,
here comes your call, right on cue,
picking me up and untying my shoes,
teaching me guitar and trying the blues,

now what do i do? finally i'm right,
i push Kath to the side, and it's alright,
cause you are a billion dollars in my sight,
i'll buy a million scratch offs to win you tonight,

Massa was the last straw, i deserve us,
sharing a milk shake with one straw, i deserve trust,
finally am not fully alone, outspoken like a cuss,
you deserve me and i deserve us.

Reality has lately been

Reality has lately been replaced by wishes..

This line tugged at me the most.
Only because I've been making wishes since yesterday.
Placing all I have up towards heaven.
Voice being blocked out by turbulent showers.
A rainfall of sorrow.
Noise that of tears flowing ..
They pour out my silence.
The occasional drip and drop of water cascading off rooftops to fall upon gutters.
My little wishes never to be fully uttered.
Past my lips just breath.
I think it, but still it's unheard.
