Illuminating the eyes of an angel
Darkness
Endless black holes of sorrow in the heart of a stranger
Silence
Thin night air loosing grip from her icy fingertips
Defeated
as he crawls along without any sense of direction
Failure
The air’s final attempts to catch the last symbol of hope
Panic
As his lungs fill one last time with familiar black exhaust
Rain
Hits her softly as she is caught by the unforgiving concrete
Storms
his screams shadowed by clouds of thunder
Fire
their eyes meet
Bright green blue hope with Dark black desolation
Extinguished…
The stars pour like rain…
Wiping sweat from his brow
And tears from his cheek
His eyes rip open once more
He breaks the wall of reality
Flicks on the blinding light
And opens a hidden draw….
From his bedside table
he pulls out her picture once more..
Wishing there was some way.. any way..
He could have saved her
