What's Your Name?

When I see you, my eyes are wide.

Having my worldly desires subside.

Although I can't, overcome by a smile,

Taking a chance is needed, I'll go the extra mile.

So, I feel that I must know something.

You sit there and leave me silent,

Originally calm, I will remain non-violent.

Under supervision is where I remain,

Ready to know, but mustn't grow insane.

Never knowing would leave me not enhanced.

And neither of us would take a second glance.

Meant to know, yet I never shall.

Everything waits, I'll just let time tell.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this poem as a hidden question, made clear from the title.
