A Darkened Theme

Words twisted with shadows
I bite my lip till it bleeds.
Eyes deep with anger
I fall back into a sleep.
Smile so crooked with razors
So sharp, I scream with all my might.
Whispers in the darkest night,
Should I fear for my life?

Figures flash before my eyes,
All I want to do is run.
Echoing sounds so dark,
Will I ever find light?
Music plays with a darkened theme,
Blood dripping down the wall.
Glowing eyes appear within air,
Waiting for me to pass.

Demons waiting for the words,
Angles shut their eyes.
For that the devil smiled,
God watched in horror.
Dead walked the earth,
The world’s fate is lost.

Interesting

An interesting poem Sarah. Reminds me of "The Walking Dead" tv show.
