" Single Parent's "

Folder:
Life

It's really hard to be single,

and raise children on our own.

To take on life's daily tasks,

we need to be strong.

Worrying about their future,

it's always on our mind.

Wondering if they'll discover,

what's so hard too find.

Our role gets even harder,

as the world changes everyday.

Making sure that they're safe,

and keeping them out of harms way.

Knowing that what we teach them,

is how they'll learn to be.

Responsible for their actions,

if necessary.

So let's all come together,

and give our children more.

Let's show them how to open,

Life's complicated door!!!!!!!!!!

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this poem from my own experience of being a single mother, and trying to do the best that I can to see that my children try to live life and do what's best for them in making decision's in their life, now and when they get older. Besides the fact that someone need's to teach them the way's of life, I think that I could teach them from my mistake's that i have made, and my goal's that I have achieved.........

Much wisdom imparted here. The poem, combined with the explanation makes the whole a message that resounds.

Your dedication is admirable. ~Tim
