I could tell you a lot of things

That I wouldn't tell a soul

I've never told you this before

But you're the reason I still go to school

Every time I find myself

Having a terribly bad bad day

When I see you standing there

Waiting for me, it all just goes away

Every time I'm trying to be mean and hateful

You're the only one who can get me smiling again

When we argue, which isn't very often

We always end up laughing in the end

And I know I can always count on you

To keep making me this happy

And you know you can always count on me

To be there if you ever need me

We both have a bitter past

That we chose to remain unspoken

And we both cannot trust

For all the lies and promises that were broken

We've been outcast by many

Just because we don't fit in

But who cares about the normal folks?

Who wants to be friends with them?

I would rather live a thousand lives

Eating in the back of the school with you

Hiding from the rest of the world

Laughing at all the crazy things you do

The sun warming my face

There is no other place

That I would rather be

I like it here, just you and me

I know that you don't like what you see

When you're looking in the mirror

But all of those little things, to me

Are the little imperfections I hold so dear

You are perfect just the way you are

Don't listen if anyone ever tells you otherwise

And never change who you are for anyone

Because you are beautiful in my eyes
