Lonely Princess

To Carol

Come my lonely princess

Let me take your hand

And carry you

Far from the strife and woes

Of this troubled land

Let us ride

Perched on hopes wings

Beyond the azure skies

Where the sun shines

And birds sing

Lay your worries

On these shoulders of mine

Run free my lonely princess

While I watch

Your form so fine

Pour me a cup

From those lovely eyes

Of love and sincerity

Unlike the world

Of deception and lies

Now my lonely princess

Recite poetry for a while

Let me look at you

And drown in

That sensuous smile

This is again a beautiful expression of your feelings...I only wish you don't confuse sensuality with spiritual sublimity and aesthetics of imagination.
