Reflections

Tiny tangible words

Appear and disappear across

The mini screen

They are from you

A friend I have never seen

Born in different worlds

Bred an eternity apart

Yet we transcend

These barriers and blend

Interests and tastes

Like and dislikes

I feel your presence in

Things I do

And form your image

Soft, Serene

As I try to capture

Your beauty’s hue

How strange life is?

We are reflections

Of each other

Though worlds apart.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this poem as an inspiration from a friend I came across incidently. She is a very talented young poetess and has a lot of potential. She uses her imaginative skills in her poetry exceptionally. I hope that this poem is a befitting tribute to her talents.
