because I am innocent

doesn’t mean I’m ignorant

if I jump at a man’s touch

do you say I lacked something

to be a woman?



I am anything but cold.



I was listening

when reproductive organs

were explained,

when school

hushed us to say

about cock and cunt,

I was curious why.



my thighs unparted,

I have trusted

no man yet

and my brain has the

power beyond my flesh.



if E=mc2

I know when to get laid

solve it for yourself.



still,

I am a woman.



I have made a difference.
















Author's Notes/Comments: 

I'll be able to give myself to the one who I truly love.  It will be my gift to him because I want it to be very special.

"jump at a man's touch" was used as a metaphor to being "untouched." I've been kissed, embraced and my hands hold, of course.  Who haven't? :P

Somebody called Lola Margot wrote some comments on some of my poems. I went to read some of her and when I finished writing a comment on her poem I found that you too liked the same one. Clicked your URL and came here to find the new untitled poem. I really liked it especially thses lines:

"my thighs unparted,
i have not trusted
no man yet
and my brain has the
power beyond my flesh".
