A Dreamer's Solstice
As I lay on the parched earth
looking upwards to the sky
I ask myself,
will things ever be alright?
After a while of watching clouds past
I heard a rumbling.
The Heavens opened up
and began to say:
Just as sure as the sun will shine
after all the rain has fallen
upon your face will be a smile
where there once was a frown.
As the Angel's tears began to fall
I was overwhelmed with hope and understanding.
All of life's complexities became simple,
all realms opened for my exploration,
every possibility limitless.
So as the earth gorged itself on Heaven's nourishments
the storm clouds receded
and the sun began its breach.
My eyes were wide open and my awakening complete.
