As we walk from the light,
a greatness shining so bright
darkness ascends upon us
overcoming obstacles to reach the ultimate destinations
a god so merciless as to let us live in his heavens
breathe no wrong, led astray with temptations
truth opens to swallow my soul a different path i choose
walking a different line, it leads to the same place
a greater force, taking care of our needs
few and many, far and wide
the few of us woken up decide
as we slowly fall to the shadows of death
a peace comforting us from the life we left
darkness ascends, opening our eyes
the ultimate truth we have searched for our lives
