Ohio Democrat senator Sherrod Brown before ever being a senator has supported Ohio midwives' rights, has on his weekends served the homeless in shelters.
He is a Rhodes scholar who has fought for Ohio workers and others 16 hours a day. He refused to accept the cheaper health insurance senators had as long as the people of the US are paying more.

He is a man of compassion for all but especially the
poor, of high ethics
and intelligence in having programs passed. Senator Brown is endorsed by the Columbus Dispatch, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Toledo Blade and other Ohio papers.
1 He voted against allowing trophy hunters to do aerial hunting in our national parks.
2 He was able to
have toxic Chinese petfood taken off of the shelves.
3 He was given a 100% rating by NARAL.
4 He voted for gay marriage
5 He voted against the Patriot Act.
6  He voted no on making federal death penalty appeals more difficult.
7 He voted no on prohibition of medical marijuana in DC.

8. Brown voted against offshore drilling which is poisoning marine mammals, reptiles
and fish.
9. He voted against the nominations of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

10. Sherrod Brown votes over 90% of the time with Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

The Youngstown Vindicator reported that Renacci's campaign tactics could be compared to dumpster diving.
