The spear-impaled
breath-deprived fish wriggled in agony

PODS

Why are dolphin gatherings called pods?
fish meetings called schools?
lions... prides
elk... herds?
Human chauvinism which terms food 'feed' when it is
given to a slaughter bound cow and calls gendered animals
the objective 'it'

CAMELOT

*

The slaughterhouse auction block
at the camel lot
is a place with greater suffering
than pain-ravaged Arthur's Camelot

LESS OBJECTIONABLE OF THE DUOPPOLY

Americans reject both wings of the polycidal
bomber plane duopoly... but
have more antipathy for the Republican wing.

ALL IS TRUE

Everything is true.
As the sun passing through multifaceted prisms
shows many different hues,
.. so everyone's perception is in the process
of birthing into higher frequencies

HENRY THE EIGHTH'S GOUT

It used to be that only kings like Henry Eighth could afford
enough meat to contract gout. Now bilions can afford
to accumulate the uric acid (trioxypurine) intrinsic to
all meat and fish and addictively stronger than caffein
or dioxypurine.

THE PRESENCE OF THE DESIRELESS

*

Only those with no desire can be truly present for others
as only an empty mirror can reflect a face. Most
of us have mental static of some kind... the agenda
of the ticking clock and priorities in our minds as
we listen to others.

NOT YET ALIGHTING

The flock of birds wheeling round and round not alighting
... like a mind which does not want to settle and meditate

EUCALYPTUS SCALES

fish swimming in schools in shallow waters.. their scales
flashing in the sun....
eucalyptus trees windblown... semaphore first silver
and then green...
