The Battle of Stalingrad Begun In 1942

 

In 1942 10 years before Putin was born, Hitler invaded Russia. 2 million

soldiers altogether fought in ckise proximity. Nearly all died or were injured. In addition, many civilians aiding the Russians were killed. Wave after wave of Rissian soldiers lay down their lives in battling the Nazis. The battle went

on for six months. In February of 1943 Russians won. It was the turning

point of the war in Europe. The invincible Nazis were vincible. 26 million

Russians died during WW2. More than any other nation, the Russian people

conquered Adolph Hitler.

 

The bravery of the Russians was aided by the same snows which

had helped them against Napoleon.
