The Last To Eat

In secular systems

the billionaires

are the first to eat.

In the spiritual

world
masters, teachers, gurus
are the last to drink
from the spring.

Jesus' Sermon on
the Mount, the teachings of
Sufi masters, the example
of Ramana Maharshi and the
Torah are some of these.
Ramana Maharshi's ashram
rules were that first the animals
be fed, then the beggars,
next ashram visitors, followed
by ashram residents, and
finally Ramana should eat.
In the Mahabharata is recounted
that Droupadi had a miracle vessel
which would feed all until she ate.
After she ate it was empty.
In Islam, hospitality to guests is a rule.

Jesus said one cannot serve
2 masters.. It is good to avoid
those who give orders which
violate ones beliefs.
