The early Salvation Army treated alcoholism
with vegetarian diet and had great success.
I' know of not a single vegetarian or vegan
who has a problem with booze. It is possible
that the excessive yang and concentration
of meat and fish call for the excessive yin
of alcohol.
During World War II, many from out
of state moved to Akron, Ohio to work in rubber
factories. There was a bar on every corner.
It is not an accident that Alcoholics
Anonymous was started there.
Pisces is said to have the most alcoholics.
The highly sensitive and empathic
sponge up others' pain and sometimes don't
know how to release it. They end up
drinking to forget.
