DESCENT OF SPIRIT

Dreams and visions,
peace and joy
were foreshadowings
that soon he would
be enfolded
in the shadows
of Spirit's descending
wings.

FALLING STARS TWO

Falling stars
glow more closely to earth.
They pour out greater warmth
and luminescence than
the stars of night
surrounding the moon crescent.

ICONOCLAST

She, in her own way an
iconoclast,
liked with a conervative man
to be cast..
she liked to carve her initials
in his frozen driftwood

INCOMPARABLE ARTIST
*
That morning the
Divine Artist
replaced his
canvas starkissed
with a pastel dawn
interlaced by
veins of pink
and skeins of gold.
What other painter
can match His
shifting skyscapes?

KALEIDOSCOPE HOLDER
*
It is He alone who
handles the kaleidoscopes
of our minds and feelings...
With One sacred shake
He sends our outlook wheeling
and our souls find themselves
with joy reeling

MISLEADING
*
As time went on
the knowledge grew
that the leading man
was a misleading man.

MY FATHER'S BUSINESS

Jesus said "I must be about My Father's
business."
You must be about your Father's business.
He and she must be about their Father's
business.
Each has different marching orders.
Each is charged with a different commission.
The golden tree of pear
is not asked to make
crimson starred apple pairs.
But all are asked to expand the
circle of love.

REBIRTH

Through the dark night
she was convinced
she was forsaken.
The illusion
melted
with the first pink
light gift of
the dawn's breaking.

SHARED GUILT?

If the husband of a filmstar
kills the male actor who does
a sex scene with her, are the
director, producer, camerawomen,
lighting assistant, screenwriter
all cokillers?

VINE CASCADE
*
Vines cascade
into a privacy screen.
More mystical now
the garden scene
for the sacred by
frequency shields
is seldom by the
profane seen.
*
VIOLENCE BANNED
*
Pruning shears, clippers,
weedwhackers, chain saws
near the gardens
have been banned by
the guardians of the gardens.
