MY JESUS



My Jesus is the

Jesus of the 100th lamb..

the prodigal son..

the handicapped man who

sat by the Bethesda Pool

for so many years

the 11th hour worker



Whatsoever we have done

to those we perceive

as the least of His

brethren.. we have done to Him.





PAUL-BEARER



God cancelled

P's appointment

with the pallbearers

because God and

Louise...

are Paul-bearers



DEMON SPAWN



Entered them

demon spawn

making them

warmonger pawns

Yet exorcised

by light of dawn

they were henceforth

by God drawn.













ALTARS OMNIPRESENT



In doubt or

hesitation

do not falter

at Abba's

omnipresent altars

where

God forgives

all knaves,

all defaulters



BRIGHT GOLD FIELDS



Within the husk

are bright seeds

containing future

gold fields of corn



Just so God grows

joy's bright kernels

inside the husks

of cruel scorn



THE STONE SHE HAS THROWN



The stones

she has at others thrown

have become the cornerstones

of her Divie Love throne.





NOT LEVITICUS



Jesus came to replace

the law of slaughter

in Leviticus

with the LAW OF LOVE

AND LIGHT OF THE LORD

Jesus came to replace

an eye for an eye

as he made the blind

to see



Angel Trails

Anonymous are Angel trails

In the snow

they leave no tracks

Coming out of the sea

there are no wet footprints

in the sand





... but they leave sparkles

of light at the ends

of their omnipotent wands



RED PEN DROPPED



She dropped her red pen

.. but the purple ink

with which it writes

is not angry.. and so

she picked it up again.







ARC OF THE ARK



For 2 of each species

was Noah's Rainbound Ark

For all everywhere

is Noah's Rainbow Arc



Fear not, O Joan of Arc

for the rainbow's gold

..in the covenant arc

is caught in the gold

of the Ark of the Covenant

You will ne'er again

be harmed.



CRUX OF LUX



Southern Cross

Far above

the ocean's flux

.. glows in

silence Southern Crux

fear it not..

it's made of lux



STEEPLE CRUMBLING



Steep steeples

they are crumbling

.. in many churches

belltowers tumbling



not on the exterior

but in the soul

.. where they

do not listen

to Peter



to put down the

sword

nor to many other

of Jesus' words



The exterior

of the church

was perfect

HONEYSUCKLE II



They said that

honeysuckle

was a parasite

but the bees

who in

the honeysuckle

liked honey to suck

said that cutting it down

would be parricide





BAPTISM BEFORE BATTLE



Some soldiers before battle

approached army chaplains..

asking to be baptized..



Little lambs, placed on the altar of

sacrifice by the rich who control

the government,

you were baptized in water..

and in the blood of Christ..



may your own blood be kept

unspilled

may the blood of those you fought

be kept unspilled



All are baptized in Spirit..



and some chaplains and pastors are courageous

enough to repeat the words of Jesus, Isaiah,

and the Father:



Peter put down your sword.

Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called

the Children of God

Turn your weapons into plowshares.

They shall study war no more.

Thou shalt not kill.

I de3light not in your blood sacrifice.

Break not the bruised reed.

The lion shall lie down with the lamb.. they shall not

hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain.



BLACK ORANGE CATERPILLAR



A bikewheel

has crushed

half of the

black orange

fuzzy caterpillar.

Will he die?

Will he be

a one winged butterfly?



APPLE TREE



The apple tree

has no commercials

in the movie of her unfolding

.. she does not make

passes at her friends

.. she does not spill

oil on newfallen snow

.. she does not sign

the fruit she gives entire



VICTIMS' BLOOD TURNS TO SACRED INK



The murders of

Cain and Moses

David and Saul..

were done in jealousy

or anger, or

lust or obedience

to the state.

Their victims' blood scarlet

became the violet ink sacred

of epistles, psalms

and the transcribed

words of GOD.



Writers often metamorphose

pain into ink

and the smell of the rose.









ALTER NOT THE ALTAR





They do not

a single plant

alter

which God has placed

on Mother Earth's altar.

For all terra's candles

are Mother Earth's.



They do not alter

a single path of water

for all rivers

are the ocean's daughters.



PRIVATE CAR



When the Pentagon

Petroplutocracy

has been purified

we will again

have wonderful trains..

many free..

perhaps a little more

if you order a private

car..

with your own kitchen

and bed and tv



PURPLE CLUSTERS



Lying in a hammock

beneath the trellis

looking at the

hanging purple clusters

and above them shines

the blazing lustre

of cloud clusters

Orange berried leafless

tree

leafless in fall gainst blue sky

The goddess of the sun

retires for the night

through clouds

spreading her fan

of rays of light





GENTLE COW AND BABY JESUS



the gentle cow

made room in her home



when none else did



for the birth of



the Baby Jesus..





yet how do His disciples

repay her..

do they unwittingly

betray her?

Indians and Africans

and Yanks

Chinese Canadians

and Manx

to God give humble thanks

that gone is the power of

billionaires' banks

to kill with bombs and

missiles and tanks



BECKONING



Christ's love beckons

us to see beyond

the barking dogs

who protect Him..

and to come closer

without fear

.. to His seat

on a throne made

of love's beacons



MIRACLE MIST



The prow of the great

ship

dissolves the slapping

wave

into salty mist



as the ship

in which Jesus rides

is the vanguard

of the miracles of Christ





BIRD GOSPEL





With discipline they queue

before dawn cue

and tune up their orchestra

slowly..

to warble of joy to me to you..

the note chorus gathers power

.. as they sing

without surcease

of His constant providing

His Love

His Joy

His Peace

DRACULA BACTERIA GONE



She knew she was feeling better..

that the Dracula bacteria in her

were being vanquished..

as the September sunlight seeped

into her skin



JESUS' VOICE



As Jesus' voice called

Lazarus back into his body

and out of the tomb

so there are myriad voices

of past Divine Love

which can resurrect your heart



THE GOD OF THE MOST REVILED



Jesus loves the rejected.. the 11th hour worker,

the hundredth lamb...the prodigal son.. the man waiting

at the pool of Bethesda... the woman at the well..

the woman being stoned...the blind, the lame..

the leper... the demon possessed.... the condemned thieves

.. those in hell (a temporary hell to which He has keys)



the more afflicted the greater His love

CHRIST CRYSTALS



Jesus the Great Pacifist

He the Great Psychiatrist

calls all from unfaithful trysts.

He who is Unconditional Love

has each of us

embraced and kissed.

He the Great Healer wholes

every broken leg, head, wrist

Every error for his mill is grist.

He turns firehose force into mist.

He who died at the hands of violent men

Is Ever Victorious.. He is Jesus Christ.

MANNA MANGO COMMUNION LOAVES



Each tree of mango

is His new manna

Each nut tree the Love

in His multiplied loaves

In each piece of toast

lives the Holy Host

and the infinite supply

of the Holy Ghost



MIRACLE EYES



Because he sees

with miracle eyes

things begin

to multiply

things begin

to materialize



JESUS NEVER SENT ANYONE TO A DOCTOR



It is the obedient

shy little

lambs who

play by the rules

who are subjected to

hospitals' lethal

testing by cash hungry

wolves.



One went to sleep

counting anesthesia sheep

.. and awoke to find

her colonoscopy

became a colostomy.





Another had a

sigmoidoscopy

and vomited up

2 quarts of blood.



A third

had the wrong leg

amputated.



One could go on and

on reciting horrors..

it is better

to trust Christ

the Great Healer

who never sent

anyone

to a doctor



BLUE MOON



One blue moon night

the antedeluvian monarchist

was by the rays

of the full moon kissed

and he did metamorphose

from a violent man

to forever more

a vehicle of Christ







ELEVENTH HOUR VEGAN



As God can decide

if the 11th hour worker

receives the same pay

as those who have worked

all day

so God can decide

that those who become

vegan late in life..

receive the same health

and forgiveness as those

who have never stolen

from or consumed an animal.
