According to his subordinate and fellow architect Arnold Speer,
Hitler sat at the dinner table as a vegetarian, asking the generals how
they could eat animals as he patted his dog under the table.
Hitler wanted to protect the lives of cows and 'food animals'. but he had no problem killing millions of people in WW2.
