Susie's Recurring Dream
Several times Susie had a recurring dream.
She was wheeling her baby brother L in
a stroller on a sidewalk of a busy street.
Suddenly a trailer truck comes by.. the back
separates from the front and comes careening
toward them. She awakens with the impact.
Time passed. L was now 9 and biking down
a long sloping driveway holding a box of baseball
cards in his left hand. He was hit by a truck and lay
bleeding on the sidewalk. Their father came running
out of the house, terrorized by fear. L was taken
to a hospital, and a metal plate was put into his head.
By a miracle he survived. Some who know the family
believe Susie's recurring dreams saved his life.
