CRI DE COEUR

Politicians are our voice,

we elected them because

we believed they heard

and understood our cri de

coeur, our impassioned

pleas from the heart. It

usually comes at us in

sound bites or in jingos

like “read my lips” or

“I feel your pain”

It could be a bubba, a

billionaire, or just some

political hack.  No one

can deliver the impossible.

Neither pay any attention

to the National debt. Dems

promise the moon to the

downtrodden and Republicans

want more guns. It's a war

between guns or butter. The

truth is we can't afford

either- we are busted, broke,

buried in debt.  Who will

subsidize our debt, making

them our new masters?
