Secret Feelings
I'm on the verge of writing but don't know where to start.
You really do know how to raise, the beat within my heart
You took my hand against your cheek, smiled & closed your eyes.
I recognised that smile from the past, then came the suprise.
You said "You always loved me" and its playing with my mind.
I don't know what your trying to say but I felt our gazes bind.
I have my own secret feelings I feel I have to hide.
You put a question in my head of how you feel inside?
You really needed holding close, to make you feel protected.
I wanted to but was too scared, of again of being rejected.
You shocked me a bit and most certainly, caught me off my guard!
I can't ignore these feelings everyday, it's just way too damn hard.
You don't know just how much, that you mean to me.
I wish, if only, I could find a way to make you see
I think that you would hurt me or drive me round the bend.
You make my feelings different and who knows how it will end.
