It is always you and I, walking the speed of a couple into harmony,
each night the dreams the same, you join me in my subconscious,
I feel the warmth and mystery surrounding, around you and all about you,
I am going to join you there, first you must meet me here,
so please do not be afraid, I am right here with you,
we only got one boat to cross the river, I will risk drowning to pass it,
I will reach out my hand, will you join me on the journey?
I will continue to wait the rest of my life, for that one night we have,
you and I on the dance floor, we only need one night,
feel the music around us, our bodies showing more emotion,
feels like we are never to be, our path only once to intertwine,
why can't we be two rebels, breaking all the rules you have in mind,
all I really need is one night, wait until our eyes connect,
you are the sole person with the vision to see my foggy soul.
If I am planning, you would take priority,
I just wish you would trust your heart, much less your mind,
my dream has me wishing, feeling more subconsciously real,
