Crystal Heart

Folder:
slightly old poems

I’m finding the natural causes

For these strange affects

How could you be so cruel?!

Now my life must confess

Sitting here I realize

You played me just like him

I try to play this game

But I never seem to win

You laugh at me

But I’m serious

I guess you thought I was a joke

For me thinking that you and me could be “us”

The core of my heart

Isn’t burning anymore

But I feel the once numbed sides

That I’ve never felt before

When will I learn

That none of you care

I wish I could skip 10 years

Maybe things will be fair

You ignore me

Because I don’t giggle for you

I’m too hurt to shed a tear

What has this world come to?

They say I’m beautiful

But I guess it isn’t true

Because you avoid me

I’ll leave our memories to you

I love the flow of your poem and the way you did this poem seems to be written from the core of your sweet heart.. respect your feelings.. specially these stanzas are so impressive..

You ignore me
Because I don’t giggle for you
I’m too hurt to shed a tear
What has this world come to?

They say I’m beautiful
But I guess it isn’t true
Because you avoid me
I’ll leave our memories to you
