I trust you more than anyone

But I fear you the most

When you look at me I run

But away from you I boast



You could save me with those eyes

That look but no longer see

You could kill me with those lips

If they ever touched me



We used to talk

But now you ignore me

Please, let’s go for a walk

And tell me how this could be



I look at your picture

Just to look in your eyes

I want to be sure

That you laugh never dies



It’s like listening to a song

That doesn’t mean a thing

It’s like believing that you can’t

Fly on angel’s wings



I forget how beautiful the world is

Until I see you again

Then I run to my room

And pick up this worn-out pen



If I die without your love

I will probably be alright

I will just close my eyes

And hold on tight
