If you wanna know why I never could let it go until now*

It’s about the time I start unwinding any hope I’ve been wrapped around

Unravel you like the lie you are

I’m resilient

First word that comes to mind when one thinks of me

So often mentioned I believe it myself

Unbreakable

A bi-product of you

The unintended beauty in the last time you fucked my mother

“Ooopps”

“Sorry dear but we made a soul last night, vastly steeped in humanity”

A compensation for your ‘self’

“Excellent! She can pay the price for my mistakes and I can keep living as I live, surround by half broken people because they are the only ones who never get close enough to see how hollow I am. I can die a lonely old man knowing she will make sure people come to my funeral. She can be my penance”

Resilient

The first word that comes to mind when one thinks of me

A body related to the shit it has over come

A spirit that doesn’t know to rest between battles

Back handed beauty

“You can drop her as many times as the conversation calls for”

“She will dent…bruise…chip…lose bits of herself”

“But never become so broken you won’t be able to use her again”

Resilient

It’s about the time I start unwinding any hope I’ve been wrapped around

Unravel myself like the lie I am

Author's Notes/Comments:

"It's about that time we start unwinding any hope we wrapped around. The distant light in the silent conversation that never blossomed into sound. Cause we were hard weather, we were broken hearted, we were always forget-me-nots, we were flash bulbs, we were constilations and we tried to conect the dots. But all this and all that and everything  in between never did amount to a damn thing...."

Cremation is really cheap,

Cremation is really cheap, and you don't have to have a service or anything.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

I read it like 5 times.

I read it like 5 times. Really sadly relatable... though my own story is much different. I could really feel you here..
