One shot of Jag to try and numb the pain
Four Running Rabbits and there you are again
Travelled to the other end of this God forsaken earth
Hoping to forget the man of legend and mirth
Standing in smiles at a bar in an Irish land
With a drink to forget placed in each hand
Another shot of Jag and some Rabbits go down
But in the end only me, myself and I drown

 

 

Author's Notes/Comments: 

so in Derry when your drink is about 3 or 4 sips in, they buy you another...ALL NIGHT LONG. It doesn't stop, they just keep coming and coming and coming. I was singing the whole walk home, loud, like you could hear me, I just wouldn't stop singing (according to Stephen I am a really good singer). NEVER have I EVER been so drunk! Sooo much fun, such a bad headache!
