I just thought you should know
That I used your tooth brush today
I figured you would not need it any more.
It was just sitting there, in a ceramic tomb…
abandoned and unloved; waiting for your touch.

I cleaned the whole house with its pretty blue bristles
The one's that use to match your pretty loving eyes

I just thought you should know
That I used your tooth brush today
Plucked it from its tomb and cleaned my home
Yet everything just feels filthier than before…
glowing yet dull; coated with a layer of lies

I just thought you should know that I used your tooth brush today
To cover my house with the words “Cheating fuck”

 

 

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I actually used it to clean a bunch of rocks gathered from the rockies but that was less poetic than the 'whole' house sooo :)

*subject to change, we all know how I feel about puns :/ sooo wrong
