Chameleon

Blaring primary colors, but I blend

So cagily that you fail to see -

This background is but a screen I'll transcend.

After these settings have ceased to be,

Inescapably changing with passing time,

I will stand like a monument,

Shedding my skin as I continue the climb,

A fierce and fickle occupant.

They fall by the wayside as I adapt,

Bending and stretching to fit new territory.

I simply move on so am never trapped,

Already forging my way toward future glory.

Oh? You finished behind to your chagrin?

Hah! Don't try to beat me - you'll never win.

I really like this one.

I really like this one. Reminds me some of my own journeys.
