12. I'd Like to Be Baby to You

Though some call it a capital offense

Couldn't I drop the masculine pretense

And cuddle close to you tender and sweet?

I just need to feel that your love's concrete -

Not based on thinking I'm infallible,

For I am, like anyone, fallible

And sometimes need loving validation

When this crazy life causes frustration;

A feeling, once felt, that's so sublime -

Knowing that you'll love me for all time

No matter how weak or strong, right or wrong,

And that I can always be baby to you

Even if the world deems it taboo.

Not Taboo

Was just reading some of your work. Enjoyed this one the most. Very whimsical and at the same time honest.
