I hear a lot of talk about this Heaven.

I hear a lot of talk about this other world.

I hear a lot of talk about another life,

After everything in this life is seen and heard.



And i hear a lot of talk about this other place,

Far beyond the reach of imagination.

I hear a lot of talk about Gods and Goddesses,

And life and death and reincarnation.



I hear a lot of talk about a lot of things

That don't really exist to me,

And i wonder how i'm expected to believe

In something i can't hear,touch,or see.



But,then again,i haven't even seen California,

But i think it exists anyway.

So,i guess there could be a lot of things i haven't seen,

And i'll just have to find out someday.



But til then,i have to concentrate

On living my life right here,right now.

And i'll do everything that i can

Just to try to make it through somehow.



But maybe someday i'll see Heaven,

And maybe someday i will get something right.

And maybe someday i will see California,

And i will bathe in Hollywood's light.
