Making arrogant, selfish, broken souls

Innocence the price
As fear creeps inside
With friends following behind
Jealousy
Anger
Rage
Fear
Ignorance
Arrogance
Hopelessness
Fear
Sanctity
Safety
Self esteem
And consumed by fear
Fear never walks alone

A sudden attack of some disease or an accident

When someone denies their
When someone denies their own feeings of grief,
Turning all feelings on you,
Blind to their habits, the anger comes out,
Wanting to cry but tears can't make it through,
Begging with arrogance, holding on to the shame,
You are the cause of their suffering and pain,
Never accounting for wrongs they can't change,
It's a shame, but some people are slightly deranged,
They could turn it around,
But they don't have a clue,
All their able to see is to sue, sue, sue.
They'll blame the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker,
They'll bury their pain in their pride,
The anger is violent, and needs ample relief,
Their own fears are the horse that they ride,
When everyone leaves them, more anger will surface,
And swallow them whole in a fugue,
Sorrow's a valid emotion we need,
Don't mistake that, and make yourself rude.

A friend of fear is doubt. A
A friend of fear is doubt.
A friend of fear is shame.
A friend of fear is that darned dark feeling
that you are not worth anything.
A friend of fear is a trixter.
He'll make you feel that he is right.
Consuming your thoughts with his false confidence,
he'll scare you away from your own heart's light.
So don't make friends with fear.
Instead make friends with love.
For love is fear's opposite.
And Love deserves your precious time.

Yes, hate has always taken..
Hate has always taken the seat as love's opposite, but in actuality, fear is love's opposite. hate is a by product and manifestation of hating oneself....and so why the hateful person, is, most often, the extremely repressed fearful person.
