Fading
Dreams cast in the shadows on the wall
Creeping deep inside despite the presence of it all
Dancing in the fires making shadows as flames fall
Soaking up the embers as the smoke begins to crawl
Nails
Screams
Tears
Tearing at the seams that hold this fragile scene to life
Screaming as the darkness steals the ever fading light
The cascade falls upon the glimpse of listless eyes
Nails
Ripping, and gripping, and slipping, and flippant
Screams
Silent, and violent, excited, and rampant
Tears
Flowing, and glowing, and showing, incessant
Chased the shadows in the darkness
Chased the shadows from the sky
From all that was imparted
And all that's gone awry
Viscous turmoil falls upon the cindered plight
Veiled in shadows slipping tendrils in the mind
Nails
Screams
Tears
