Flicker

When the flame begins to flicker
And the light begins to fade
The world will glow in glimmer
Before the darkness takes its place

While searching for the answers
To all life's mysteries
I will disregard the candor
As I'm told not to believe

And when my end is nearing
I'll know life was not a waste
Before, I challenged my true meaning
And the reasons for mistakes

So when the flame begins to flicker
And the light begins to fade
The world is left in embers
And I in ashes lain

Because an end is not an ending
Just another turning page
This is life that I'm defending
Death will have to wait

Because the flame might start to flicker
As I fan into the flames
The light may well grow dimmer
But that's just when I will wake

Time

isn't everlasting. But making the most of what's available, that is the real meaning of life

Thank you, I'm more than happy that you felt this one so deeply.
