The shadows on my soul
The heart I’ve lost in time
And the world I’ve come to know
The thoughts are repeating
Over and over again
The walls are receding
The light is coming in
I’ve ignored my mind
Repressing these thoughts
Left trapped in my heart
My stomach in knots
I’ve pushed it all down
Pretending a lie
I’ve hidden the truth
For sake of our life
Friendship with you
Is something I’m not
Willing to lose
Because of a thought
But throughout my head
The thoughts are repeating
Over and over again
The walls are receding
To let the light in
The thoughts are pleading
To let me love within
The darkness is fleeting
As the walls begin to thin
I never thought I’d say it
I thought it wasn’t true
I thought I would just stay and
Be only friends with you
I thought they all were lying
But they already knew
The only person trying
Was me to mask the truth
I am not relying
On any change with you
But I’ll still be hopeful
Until the day you choose
The thoughts repeating
The walls receding
The darkness fleeting
My heart keeps beating
The thoughts are repeating
Shouting out to me
My soul is bleeding
From what I couldn’t see
And now I’m feeling
A change deep down in me
My heart is reeling
Cuz I won’t set it free
The thoughts are repeating
Over and over again
The walls are receding
To let the light in

The thoughts keep on pleading
So I’ll embrace within
The thoughts of believing
That I can love again

Through love I’ve come to grow

i write songs,but I've not a voice worthy of recording.
i used to sing some back up now and then,mostly outside th US.
My voice is now used to sing for children mostly.
